Slow
Tasmania - The island State of Australia, the Apple Isle, home to the cleanest air in the world, unique wildlife and stunning scenery. Full of pristine beaches and luscious rainforests, rugged mountains and Wilderness World Heritage areas. It might be our smallest state but I can’t get enough of it. There is so much to see and explore. I’ve only just scraped the surface with my many visits, mainly to the East Coast, Hobart and Launceston. Earlier this year (2022) I managed to get to the Tarkine for the first time and I can’t wait to go back - so wild and rugged on the coast and the forests so green and inviting.
This image was taken pre sunrise at Friendly Beaches on the East Coast. The blue pre dawn light made the pristine white sand glow blue making the patterns left by the outgoing tide look like ice. Always take the time to slow down and appreciate your surrounds - you never know what you’ll see!
